Malewarebytes warns of Malware.Packer.Krunchy which I believe is part of the packaging. Can anyone confirm that this is a false positive. TIA,

Kaspersky 2012 reports a Trojan, so i turned it off and installed the game. After i turn the AV on the game crashes and the full system scan begins, MAY contain a trojan.

I installed this game and ran it smoothly yesterday. But today, when I start up the game, I get nothing but a process poppin' up, then immediately closing down. I've tried reinstalling the game but at no avail.

Anyone know how I should fix this, or should I just download SKIDROW's?

-problem is in (user)/AppData/Roaming/Hothead Games/The Baconing

-the problem files is

Prefs

Delete it and the game will work again. Dont change the default setting in the game and it shouldn't happen again.

No problems with install or running here, played it to about halfway through before the grind became too monotonous. Puzzles and thought are mostly gone replaced with senseless lengthy boss fights and random difficulty spikes. Hate to say it, but I agree with the blogs/reviewers that say they've run Deathspank into the ground. Quit and uninstalled it.
